i cant understand why those guys wear padding and helmets our football here there is bigger hits and is a much tougher game.

and it dont ten mins for 30 seconds of play so so boring.

See, told you I don't watch that much. More of F-1 fan, but I still don't watch that much. I actually drag race and autocross. Going to probably maybe do 1 or 2 races (if that) drag racing this year. Going to try and get the SCCA season in the Northwest here in autocross.

that's cool. what kind of car do you drag? is it that Saturn in your avatar?

Yep, it's that saturn. I use it cause I don't have a muscle car and it's not a Honda. Not the typical new drag racing type of cars. I want to get it so it looks like a normal, everyday street car, but very fast. Would rather do that than have a big ol spoiler on the back. But if I could get a muscle car, and this car, I would. I actually won my class at a racetrack last year. Bracket racing though, not heads up.

that's the way to do it! don't need to be flashy to be fast!

I'm going to repaint the car, but the same color but really nicely done. So it'll be shiny and new looking, but still just looking everyday driver car. Not going to load it up with stickers either. Don't want people knowing what I have. But some people like that stuff, and they can do it. Just not for me.

another great idea, making it 'sleeper'. they won't know what hit them!

kind of like the 1970 Chevelle wagon w/ a LS-6 454!

There's all sorts of fun things you can do as far as sleepers. Biggest one I've seen is drive a Saturn.
At our track here, a buddy of mine was watching the races, didn't realize it was me racing, but this is what happened, kinda funny. We were in time trials, which is heads up racing. I'm put up against an Eclipse (don't know what type, but I know some types will smoke me) and I thought this guy had some fast car. So I'm thinking I'm going to be smoked. I kill him off the line. I'm racing down the track, the guy never really comes close to beating me. I win easily. The announcer at the track says, "And the winner is the Ecl...whoa, hey! The Saturn took down the Eclipse folks. Isn't that something?"

That to me was worth the day at the track. I think that day I was eliminated early, maybe 2nd round, but I didn't care.
