The sequel to Nightwatch is out on DVD today.

Must get it but I think I'll just go tomorrow so I can load up on the new video games as well.

How do the US releases translate from the Russian ones? I always wondered if there was mass edits done to them or if it was just the inclusion of Dubbed track, which I never watch OSL all the way!!!

BTW did you post any pics online yet?

Daywatch was unbelievably awesome in the theater.

And Shreddy, to answer your question, I watched the English-dubbed version of Nightwatch, and it was good, but I wish I had seen the subtitled version instead, because they do all these cool effects with the subtitles which add emphasis to the lines of dialogue.

I didn't know the third movie was even done yet. Kim... care to hook a brotha up with some details? :)

Doh, now I feel like an idiot. It was just the two movies I've seen. I could have sworn I had watched 3 movies last year. Maybe I just got it confused with having looked into it after Nightwatch hit theaters in my area and knew the 3rd movie was planned. Daywatch had just come out in Russia. I've got the books but haven't had the time to read any. The movie is actually still on my computer. I'll have to delete it and pick up the two DVDs.

Did anyone play the crummy PC game? I downloaded a demo of it and it was quite boring.

I wont watch these movies dubbed the effects on the subtitles is very cool. I was just wondering if these were any different from the Russian Theatrical releases.

So the books are good huh, I might have to get them for the wife for Xmas, she liked the movies.

I've heard people say the books are much better than the movies. Those are usually from the people who read the book first and don't like the movies.

I have the first two books (but haven't read them)... from what I've heard, both movies combined are based on the first book. This is pretty cool, because they either have TWO books upon which to draw material for the final movie, or they have the possibility of making MORE than one more movie.
