Okay, so I have Glitch as a bypassed effect on my master track in reaper (so the effect is applied to everything) and it's turned on for the 4th beat of a measure plus the next measure following and bypassed every where else.

I'm getting the effect I want and it sounds fine in Reaper, but not when I listen back on my iPod. I'll play my song straight through and the effect just stops half way and skips to the next track... But when I skip the effect and fast forward to the rest of the song it doesn't skip.

Is this a fixable problem or just a bug?

"Apply FX as new take" then take the plug off. Render again if you have to.

Might just be a problem with the mp3 file. Don't know how an iPod would react to a corrupt file, it may do exactly what you just said.

I found a work-away around it.

I had Glitch on my actual master track in Reaper, so I took that off and made a Mix Bus folder for my whole project (I think Adam does this regularly when rendering); treated it as if I was doing it the other way with the bypass and everything and it worked.
I also rendered it online, so that might have something to do with it, but I doubt it.

I have messed with this same program and always had issues with it. Can never seem to get it to start out at the "beginning" of the part I want to glitch. Maybe it's time to read the manual..... -.-

There's a bunch of videos doing a brief walk through of the plugin, so check those out. I think they're on the Glitch website. And trust me, I had no clue what I was doing when I first tried using this, but now it's just a matter of simply finding what sound I want and automating a bypass for everything that doesn't need it.
