Dealing with dirty electrics?

The studio im currently working out of is on a farm, and I keep getting electrical clicks and pops coming through guitars (mics are fine though) which are caused by the electric fence. How can I stop this??? would one of those power conditioner things work?

Hmm. I don't think it is in the power line like you hope. It sounds like magnetic interference. This is a much bigger problem, and to be honest, I am not sure if it can be fixed unless you move the fence or the studio. Just like with nuclear radiation, distance is the best cure. Does the studio have high voltage wires running underneath it? This would be something to look into.

sometimes the audio cables get to close to the mains, picking up some interference, try move the studio around and see if it is minimised
