Dear Sweden:

People like this are similar to the Islamic "fundamentalists." Christians aren't all wacky, these groups just make the biggest commotion.

I've never done it, so I'm not even sure if it works, but you load several pages into a fax machine taped together in a loop, so once it connects to the number, the fax just keeps going and going printing page after page. Even if the other end hits the cancel button, you can set it to constant redial I would imagine, renderning defeat upon thine enemy.

Well, Hitler was a Christian by the way.
Obviously he was born one, whether he actually bought into it is a completely different matter. National Socialism was very much buying into Germanic mysticism and such. There was a certain amount of political gestures the nazis had to engage in to accomodate the still powerful religious institutions, but by and large, the nazis had little need or regard for the church other than how they could manipulate the public.

Yeah, there is talk of Hitler denouncing Christianity once he came into power, but I see no evidence of that in the man himself, but certainly Mein Kampf lists several references to God, and so do some of his public speaking quotes.

Pre-leadership:

"And the founder of Christianity made no secret indeed of his
estimation of the Jewish people. When He found it necessary,
He drove those enemies of the human race out of the Temple of God."

"What we have to fight for...is the freedom and independence
of the fatherland, so that our people may be enabled to fulfill
the mission assigned to it by the Creator."

Post-leadership:

"National Socialism and religion cannot exist together....
"The heaviest blow that ever struck humanity was the coming of Christianity. Bolshevism is Christianity's illegitimate child. Both are inventions of the Jew. The deliberate lie in the matter of religion was introduced into the world by Christianity....
[font=Arial,Helvetica]"Let it not be said that Christianity brought man the life of the soul, for that evolution was in the natural order of things."

etc. etc.

It's difficult to say where his honesty appears, just because he was a raving lunatic. Leaders will tell people what they [want/need] to hear.

Concerning Pastor Phelps: He, and his followers, picketed Kansas State University several times (that's where I went to college), but I never knew he was this looney. How can the Baptist church allow him to operate under their name?

Concerning Hitler: I just remember seeing a special on the Histroy channel talking about his interest in the occult and paganism. I realize he originally supported Christianity.

Swedish tsunami-count is 703 missing and 19XX unknown if I remember the numbers I ehard on the radio a few hours ago correctly.

About Hitler and Nazism: National Socialism is and was a political ideology that like most others had very little to do with religion in most ways. I just got tired so I won't rant about this, but obviously no religions had a great impact on it except possibly judaism, but that was more about racial issues (leading to bla bla bla) than religious ones.

Fag feces & semen are rendering me unable to participate in this discussion any further.

I know...

They totally misinterpret the religion to match their own twisted ideas. What about the part of all religions that say "Love thy neighbour/do unto others as you'd have them do unto you"...?

Sweden rocks by the way. They have the coolest music and the most gorgeous guys. If I was religious I'd say Allah/God/Odin/Buddha bless Sweden. Nah.... the world.
