Death Angel and DragonLord last night

Thraxx - Nice work!!!

I need some new albums. What Death Angel ones do you recommend. When I went to the web site(from another thread on page 2) to hear a Metalica tribute album, I listened to Death Angels cover of Trapped Under Ice and it was the best fucking song on that album.

No need to burn. I'll go buy some CD's at Tower this week. I wish I could go to the key club but I got too much going on with work and taking care of family.

Thanks dude.

ACt III, easily theire best!!!
don't forget to check out the "sideproject" The Organization or The O, they got 2 great albums out ,with Rob as theire leadsinger!!

can't help it, but I think Rob looks like TD on crack!!

Thanks Dutchy and Thraxx - I think I'll get the Art of Dying and Act III this week. I don't know why I don't have any of their stuff already because I have a ton of music at home.

death angel's -ultra violence is one of the best thrash cds ever. Art of dying is a great comeback cd! Act III is pretty good. Their 2nd cd is pretty good also.

Be prepared for their upcoming tour with Kreator and vader!!!:Spin:

hey, that's a great set list! I've got to go see these guys again if they come to the UK.

Best DA stuff?

The new one - The Art of Dying - I can't believe how strong this album is.
Act III - classic
The Organisation's 2nd album Savor the Flavor - it's criminal that they got ignored and they cover a Steely Dan track, great choice!

Yea.... that the hidden track i got them all......... and Signed......

I used to listen to DA all the time growing up. Absolutely loved Act III and the Ultravoilence. Room With a View and Bored are my fav tracks from them. I bought the new album last summer and enjoyed it. Glad to see them back.

Anyone else notice a resurgence of the late 80's thrash bands this last year? I really enjoyed the new album from Exodus.

Yeah, definetly. Looks like the start of another Metal Rennaissance, hopefully this one will do without glam (unfortunately instead we have metalcore and the gay extreme bands) and it being killed with grunge, (at the most instead of staying wtih the neoclassical + thrash turn into doom-jazz or something).

I had some gift money from work, so yesterday I ordered ACT III, Art of Dying, Ultra-Violence was out of stock :( and I got Exodus' Tempo of the Doomed. Should be at the house in a few days.
