For those of you Death fans, I'm just starting to check them out. What albums does everyone like most?

Human is the most Death Metal sounding. Symbolic happens to be my favorite. But they are all good.

Personally, I recommend Individual Thought Patterns, The Sound of Perseverance, and Symbolic. Obviously, Chuck's performance on all of these albums is amazing, but Richard's drumming on TSoP is fucking spellbounding. That album is my personal favorite.

favourite is possibly leprosy, i love the vibe of that album, just really crushing without being monotonous at all

My favorite is either Human or The Sound of Perserverance, although all of them are excellent. Chuck was a genious.

Absolutely. These are incredible albums. I often wonder what Death would have sounded like after TSoP. I'm sure it would have been something outstanding that once again raised the standard in the scene, but sadly we'll never know.

I've got all their albums. I recommend their last 4 though. They are all just GREAT! In order: Human, Individual Thought Patterns, Symbolic, The Sound Of Perseverance.. masterpieces! Each one better than the previous one.. Symbolic kai TSOP are my favs.


EDIT: Symbolic kai TSOP? HAahHAha... I meant Symbolic and TSOP (which I am sure you all got but I had to clear this out ).
"kai" is the greek word for "and"...

Nope your not alone!

I dont think this album is too great, its like just really boring man, and I dont like Jim morris' Production sound, especially the drums and guitar.....

Also Richard Christy is not one of my favourites(SEAN REINART KICKS HIS BOTTY), Christy's style is far too ridgid and boring.

The best album in my opinion is a tie between Human and Individual thought patterns!
