Now your just being an asshole. All we were saying was almost all of your comments you post on peoples mixes are rather harsh and you don't have any input other than the fact you don't like it. You could at least be constructive and give examples on why you don't like something and possibly give some advice on what you would do to make it better. That's what I do. If there isn't a pleasing mix or if something just doesn't sound right (to me) I'll give some advice or pinpoint what I think a problem area is. Not just:
Why everybody at this forum treats drums like it ain't even a musical instrument?:)
Like I'm just saying in general that this isn't great feedback on someone's mix.

But anyways, thanks for the feedback so far guys, I'm working on getting the background guitar to sit better and i got the snare worked out I think. I'm still adding to the song and hope to have vocals up soon.

I'm interested in having this track produced and mixed well, because I like the idea.
I'd start with drums, because it's a complex instrument.
Don't ever use completely processed drum samples (toontrack/ssd) for your "groundwork", maybe when it comes to layering these libraries can be pretty good.
Once you finish with your drums - add bass, connect it with kick and, if possible, with snare drum.
And only then you go for guitars.
It's a mixing process, not a junk yard - first you go with complex instruments, then you add everything else.

For drums I'd use this free library: http://signalsaudio.com/site/scc-drums/
It's a very good library in case you don't have AD or BFD.

Go with that and when you return - you'll have a far better mix than you have now.

why dont you post a sample of a complete song mixed by you with drums, bass, guitar, vocals and let us decide if we should listen to your advice or ignore it.

thanks! :D

Yeah I'm curious what he has to post as well considering it sounds like he's better than everyone else.
