Decapitated fans here?

The drummer of one of Poland's biggest death metal bands, Decapitated died on November 2, 2007 as a result of head trauma from a car crash in Gomel, near the Belarus / Russian border earlier in the week. The band's singer, Covan, was involved in the wreck as well, and was seriously injured. Covan is currently recovering in a Russian hospital.

"Covan's family released a statement yesterday (Thursday, November 1) that the vocalist's condition had improved. At the time, the vocalist was still said to be at a hospital in Novozybkov, Russia, where he and Vitek were taken following the accident."

Vitek and Cvan's car reportedly collided with a truck carrying wood. Supposedly, the driver of Covan and Vitek's car was at fault in the crash, but that cannot be confirmed at this time. Vitek was 23 years old.

All of here at metalreviews are deeply saddened by this event and hope that Vitek's familly, Covan's family, and the rest of the band can find the strength to get through this horrible tragedy.

there's always a death with a tour bus crash. jesus christ this is so fucking sad. i fucking met Vitek only in June and he was so nice he was only 12 when he joined decapitated. he fucking owned on drums. R.I.P. my friend

this may be the end of Decapitated. Vogg and Vitek were brothers. how could he go on? but i would think that Vitek wouldnt want the band to break up IMO but who knows it just matters that the family is doing all right and covan gets better.
