Deep Purple return to Festival Park in Elgin on Wednesday August 20.

All I know is the folks who do shows at the Arcada are putting it on, and the support comes from "The Orchestra" who have members of ELO.

My guess is around 50. With Deep Purple though at least they deserve that price tag. They were great when I saw them a few years back.

I have that as well and agree. This box has 4 cds that have the 3 complete shows they played. A dvd, and then a 7" single. Also has a big hardcover book. $84 is too expensive for me as well. Even though im spending $115 on the super deluxe editions of the Led Zeppelin reissues, but LZ Is my favorite band ever

Nah. Had I remembered, I probably would have scheduled around it and gone; though being sick right now it may not have happened anyways. Have a good time. They're great live. Just wish they'd stop doing the orchestra thing. I don't think it really adds that much.

Even though I am a huge Sabbath fan, I couldn't bring myself to buy the ridiculous combo set of the Gathered In Their Masses Blu-Ray/DVD/CD/Can Opener/Nipple Ring/etc., so I stuck with just the plain jane DVD. All of that crap just drives me nuts. uke:
