Deicide

So, I picked up the When London Burns dvd and was quite impressed. Jack Owen and Dave Suzuki are killer on it.

Feelings on Deicide?

I'm not really the biggest fan...funny thing with death metal...everyone has a few kickass, talented bands that they unexplainably don't really like. Their musicianship is top notch, their attitude is cool...I just don't really dig Deicide the way I do, say, Nile, Vehemence, Skinless, and Suffocation. It must just be fuckin' genetic or something.

insinerathymn was the first deicide cd i picked up, worst enemy really stuck with me and halls of warship is ace, but deicide is pretty good too, its got dead by dawn

I just listened to Worst Enemy yesterday, great track...

But, Deicide is one of those bands that I have listened to since the early 90s, when death metal was really emerging from the swamps....

Granted, I can see where one would not really be all that interested... their satanic approach tends to immediately put some off...

And their attitudes haven't always been all that great...

In general not a huge death metal fan, although there are a few bands I do enjoy. I have to say that I'm not that familiar with Deicide but a friend of mine turned me on to their newest CD and I thought it was pretty damn good. Sorry, just don't remember the title.

Well, all I can say is I have headr the new album in its entiriety and I am gonna go ahead and say it and put it out there.

I don't think I heard the brand new one that is about to come out but the newest one prior to that. Still, good CD.

i have also heard the new album, very good, not their best but good, oh look out for the new blind guardian when it comes out
