DeMaio totally lost his marbles...

That interview has to be staged, I mean nobody can be THAT idiotic! In anycase I have to give Joey the rating:

NP: Carnivore - 'Race War'

let me start by saying I'm NOT a fan of Manowar but what I took from that Interview is that he "wishes" to be killed at a show by a fan...that being the ultimate metal thing for him.......which is utterly ridiculous...but whatever.

Die for metal....intentionally not a chance....travel and spend a boatload of money...damn near ever show.

He could have taken the bloated ego inflated metal primadonna route after the "I don't play with instruments that are out of tune, I don't play with bad equipment and I don't play with bad sound" paragraph, but instead, "I'm prepared to die for metal. Are you?"

Like there's gonna be a war launched against old washed up metal bands and people will have to take bullets over it.

Cant help it thats why I love Manowar ... "We Are Fighting for Metal, Power and Steel, Fighting for Metal, Metal Thats Real" Joey D might just be the most Pompus Ass on earth ... but I really dont care, He loves what he does and who he is ... Eat, Breath, and Shit Metal I am the same way ... hell if I had the balls to do it I would get all greased up and run around in a loin cloth and if anybody gave me shit for it, well lets just say my sword would be wet with their Non-believing blood :loco: ... I am Prepared to DIE for Metal! Are You? ... I love that line

He was being totally badgered by the interviewer. I'm not surprised he snapped.

I have absolutely no problem with Joey and Manowar, but after years and years of those type lyrics..... he had that interview coming. Is it right ? Hell no, but at the same time, you have to keep your cool.
