Unknown yet excellent band from Czech Republic. With an obvious technical Death-Metal base coated by a cybernetic/futurist/spatial aesthetic , this band delivers with Mutant Star a collection of compositions which epitomize a great sense of avantgarde Metal.Arabic/Oriental bits are thrown here and there , but not loosely , sometimes driving the bulk of the melodies in the songs.

Demimonde have split up five years ago, by the way. Building on the asumption that genuine artists get after-death recognition exclusively, well, it's about time someone starts calling them cult

"Mutant Star" is a solid release of course. If you want your Cynic/Nocturnus colliding with nicely fucked-up electronics, pompous yet cool vocals and an "Oxiplegatz x 1000" kind of atmosphere, this is worth at least checking out.

Any feedback on the tracks uploaded by Master Dev so far?
