Its hilarious enough watching these self-righteous defenders of personal liberty taking shots at gay men, gay men working with children, consenting adults, freedom of speech, right to privacy, and stomping all over other prime leftist causes JUST to get Republicans shit-canned over the Mark Foley incident, but this is classic:

WASHINGTON POST,
Thursday, October 5, 2006; B02

A field organizer for Democratic congressional candidate Al Weed resigned yesterday after it was discovered that she referred to Sen. George Allen (R-Va.) as "Macacawitz."

In an e-mail sent last night, Meryl Ibis asked Democratic supporters to protest "George 'Macacawitz' Allen" during a Republican rally in Danville.

The term "Macacawitz" is an apparent reference to Allen's use of the word "macaca" and the recent discovery that he has Jewish heritage.

Can it get any fuckin sweeter?? More and more antisemitism from Democrats against their jewish opponents. Remember when they referred to their 2000 vice-presidential candidate Joe Lieberman as being "too ethnic" and having too much "shlameel", only to have fellow leftists ask one another in confusion, "Isn't that... kinda antisemitic?" Barbra Streisand might say, "Antisemitism is anything that comes out of the mouth of Hitla and Bush."

:loco:

Yeah, gay men sexually harassing 16 year old boys is definitely the lesser offense:rolleyes: . That piece of shit gives alcoholics a bad name:lol: .

at least Republicans are properly treating Foley like a leper and have shuttled him off.

in the Democrat party, sexual misconduct... homosexual or otherwise... is treated like a sign of honor.

Yep, it sure is, Sue

don't feel bad because you are associated with a well deserved sinking ship:waah:.

First and foremost, I agree that this guy is a piece of shit. With that said, get your facts straight. No punishable crime has been committed. Aside from the fact that 16 is the legal age of consent in Florida, it was not sexual harrassment. Sexual harrassment would infer that there was an unwilling party. I have yet to read that there was an unwilling party. Were there charges filed?

Ahh, I see.

Since the boy is considered "legal" then it is okay? Strange world we live in. I know that I wouldn't be defending a piece of shit democrat if they did the same thing. You people crack me up.

It is no secret that the Republicans have had probably as many sex scandals as the Dems. They are handled very differently.
Examples:(I have paraphrased)
Packwood, from Oregon, resigned his Senate seat in 1995 amid repeated allegations that he had sexually harassed women. A few years earlier, Rep. Jim Bates, a Democrat from the San Diego area, faced similar allegations by two female staffers. Bates refused to resign and won reelection

In 1998, Livingston won the Republican Party's blessing to succeed Newt Gingrich as speaker of the House. But Livingston, of Louisiana, never served a day in the job. He was sunk by revelations that he'd had an extramarital affair, a disclosure that carried the additional baggage of hypocrisy since, at the time, Livingston was leading the Republican impeachment of President Clinton for his affair with Monica Lewinsky. Clinton, of course, ultimately survived impeachment.

Rep. Thomas Evans (R-Del.) was voted out of office in 1982 after he publicly regretted his "association" with a lobbyist named Paula Parkinson, who later posed for Playboy; Evans and two other Republican House members (including one named Dan Quayle) had shared a Florida cottage with Parkinson on a junket. Contrast this to the reaction to allegations of an affair between Sen. Chuck Robb (D-Va.) and Tai Collins, a former Miss Virginia. Robb won reelection three years later.

The clearest illustration may be in the divergent outcomes of the cases against Crane (R) and Studds (D) in 1983. Both men were censured by the House for having sex with underage congressional pages -- Crane with a 17-year-old girl in 1980, Studds with a 17-year-old boy in 1973. Crane, of Illinois, apologized for his actions, while Studds, who declared he was gay, refused. Crane lost his reelection bid the next year; Studds, of Massachusetts, kept winning his seat until he retired in 1996.

Double standards or is it more acceptable from Dems because double standards, lack of morals and lack of character are expected?

Where in my post did I defend him? The only thing I did was state facts. The guy stepped down from his position. The man's professional career is over. What else do you want? Where are all of the people who were defending Clinton's privacy when he was caught banging that dumpy intern?

I love it. Yeah, it is the Democrats fault. They are worse people. Blah. Blah. Blah. I mean nothing else matters in the world, except the divide between democract vs republican.

Simply put, if your first reaction to this scandal is to think about democrats, you are the hypocrite.

My first reaction to this "scandal" was in fact to think of the Democrats. I didn't have a choice. All I see when I turn on the TV are Democrats building this up. Everytime I turn around, jerk-offs like Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi are running their mouths on TV. Tell me how this makes me a hypocrite?

Because the hypocrisy of the other party only interests you.

Only a Democrat could tell you what your first thought should be and then tell you it is wrong. Didn't you read my last post? If you could go ahead and re-read that, it would be great. Thanks.

I am not a Democract.

You said your first reaction was to think about the Democracts, instead of you know the actual pervert in the case. Why don't you actually read what you write?

After stating that was my first reaction, I went on to explain why. Again, in typical fashion, reading and reporting only the parts that suit your arguement. Please try to pay attention.

I am paying attention. Judging by your myspace link you are a partisan hack who never even went to college.

As i said , you are more interested in the hyprocrisy of the other party. If you don't understand what that means, or why that is a problem, don't bother responding.

My apologies. I wasn't completely truthfull in one of my previous posts. My very first thought was not really of the Dems. My very first thought was "Hmm, Pelosi ain't bad looking for a 60 year old." "I might throw her a jump." And then...........my thoughts shifted to the dim-witted Democrats and their fascination with blowing up anything they think will make their opponents look bad. If they put this much effort into new ideas, instead of pointing fingers all the time, they may even get a vote from me.

Come on now. Because I don't believe in global warming, think Gore is a wack-job and don't like the socialist policies most Democrats employ, I am partisan?
Congratulations on looking at my profile and taking a swipe at my intellect. You tipped your hand on where you stand intellectually by doing that. If I were concerned about what a person of your caliber thought, I might qualify my intellectual superiority by giving you some background. You on the other hand, don't even have enough sack to put any information about yourself in your profile. Insecure?

Its not about Democrat vs. Republican. It's about a sick fuck trying to fuck underage kids in the ass.

agreed. Our government is so retarded. You would think people in these positions might be a little more wary of their actions, and attempt to keep their noses clean. If I go and Im some like 16 year old girl, i get busted, go to jail..no one hears about it. Dont these morons realize their lives are under microscopes. No matter if you are some worthless republican senator I havent heard of from a equally worthless and shitty state, you fuck up..everyone is gonna know.

other than internet crybabies, nobody 'associates' me with any particular party.
i'm a Republican, but what exactly does that mean? if the Republicans dont do well in the upcoming elections [which i suspect they wont], am i to be banished to some sort of penal colony on a far away island? will i be blackballed from society? will my family and friends turn against me?
OR... will it just be business as usual for me and my life?

i strongly suspect it will be the latter, so no worries on my part, as far as my 'association' with the Republican party.
