Denmark Rock Festival

Lookin' good, Claus.

Sadly I can't afford a second trip to Denmark this year. I'm going to Copenhell and spending an additional two weeks there which will likely include me spending much time and money at The Rock. :D

(Also, I'm posting this from Iceland right now. FTFW) :heh:

Glad to hear you made it over there. Now go eat some lutefisk!

That's really a Norwegian-American thing only lol. Traditional Scandinavian food is actually fucking awesome and is made from all sorts of ommy noms.

I know, I've had it. But you can find it in Iceland (or at least something terribly similar). Considering how awful that thing tastes and how I wish upon my good friend Eric the same taste buds rape, he definitely should go for it.

Perhaps Milton was thinking of Hákarl? I didn't get to try it, actually, but I did eat some whale meat. Missed out on the puffin too but drank some Brennivin.

Had lots of great food in Iceland. Definitely comparable to NY as far as mid-tier fine dining goes.

Anyway, sorry for the derail, Claus. :D Looking forward to the rest of the announcements. (And I promise to make good on your beer.)

I will say that although it has a very weird setup as far as venue's go, it's a very comfortable venue and the sound is pretty great. It's also easy as hell to get around Copenhagen and there are thousands of lovely ladies to watch on bicycles. :)

Goddamn Claus, Leprous and Kingcrow at the same festival, awesome!

I believe we (=me+Tini) are in :) Flights seem very decent price too, thanks to Norwegian just opening a Helsinki-Copenhagen route starting May :kickass:

Will have to wait a little bit still before booking but I'm 90% sure about this Copenhagen mini-vacation! So Claus, what are the odds of having a beer (or a few) with you at the festival, are you making it over?

EDIT: less than 20 minutes later thinking about the awesome times to be had at this festival - Never mind about waiting, just booked the flights for us  Arrival to Copenhagen on Thursday evening, leaving on Monday afternoon.

EDIT #2: if anyone coming for the fest from the US wants to visit Finland before or after the festival it's only about $100 for a roundtrip from Copenhagen and free accommodation can be arranged easily at our place :)

Pastry and I are seriously considering coming out and trying to figure it out. The only huge concern will be my flight out, but given the last time I went I assume they will be $100 more, at most. So...it's on the calendar.

Claus, you actually going to show up this time? Or will I be eating our birthday dinner alone, again? :P
