By the way: I have a bass too, it's a Fender Jazz Bass, and I love it. I'm sure I'm not a player like you, but I sometimes have fun "torturing" it. Basses are really nice instruments, and their sound is very let's say useful, most of songs sound empty without a proper "bass-touch", to me.
