nah, death metal logos must have some of this elements to fit the music: spider webs (maybe with a tiny spider even!), slime, skulls (better with some candles around it), inverted stuff, sharp edges, thorns, blood, barbed wire, rusty edges, weird fonts, shredded or scratched letters, fire, etc etc etc it's better when you can actually read it, otherwise it's forgettable.

I took inspiration from the Unleashed and Authorize logos.
I was going for slime with that look at first, but it took too much time so I had to make it more simple so the guys could have it in time.

dunno Authorize but metallum says death metal, sweden, early 90s, sold! I'll check them I liked the logo, I was waiting for some horrid stuff but it looks quite cool well mixed between death metal and thrash
