Ok here's a treat for you all (or torture). Way back when I had hair, and a band, we used to cover Charlie Daniels' "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" - if you haven't heard the original, then you should find and listen to that first. Most of you USA folks probably are already familiar with it.

Here's the metal version we used to do. I'm the dork singing/playing lead. This is from 1992 I think:

Enjoy!

EDIT: The audio isn't synced with the video towards the last 2/3 - I'm a noob at video ripping (this came from an old VHS).

wow

cheesiness aside, the guitar playing was actually pretty good.

except the moshpit, if that's what you want to call it, was something entirely different

Haha, yeah I don't know where that yodel came from. When you play all that country stuff your inner stereotypes kick in I guess hehe. That was a fun tune to play I know that!

I have to goof with ripping all our other stuff now. Anyone rip VHS tapes often? I don't know why the audio became unsynced at the last 1/3 of that video. I am using a Dazzle To Go and Pinnacle software, fast computer as well.
