Different age and mindset probably, great albums for their time but he is moving on like most musicians.. that beig said, city is easily in my top 10 of best albums ever made!

Can't wait for deconstruction now!

My favorite Devin related album is DTP's Accelerated Evolution.

Every album of his is awesome in it's own way though, because they're so completely different from one and other. Alien is just as good as City just like Ki is just as good as Physicist (to me anyway). That's what keeps me interested in DT projects - they're so diverse and I love the fact that he isn't rehashing the same old shit for every album. Much respect to DT for that.

They are SO different from each other than almost everyone has his own love/hate relationships with his albums. I personnaly absolutely ADORE ocean machine. It's just a fucking perfect album to me. And I don't like physicist. Some people will feel the contrary !
