Devin Townsend Guitar Rig Vid

My guess is that the preamp-tones are GCXed to the G-force, and the G-force goes to the 2:90. So each head is the dry sound and the 2:90 is the wet sound.

He was pretty specific about the signal coming out of the splitter to the Boss unit, eq, and 2:90

I don't think so. In that video he talks about his LTD 7 string and how it played a major role in the album. Accelerated Evolution is all in open C major though. Does anyone else think the tones on Accelerated Evolution and Ocean Machine destroy the new tone on Ziltoid?

I'd be willing to bet that the G-Force is run with the Boogie heads, not the Boss preamp. He's always run that Boss preamp straight to PA for his wet rhythm sound, now he just runs it to two 2x12's.

And yeah, the tones on AE/OM are better than Ziltoid, I'd say, but Ziltoid is such a weird thing... it's hard to compare to any Devin album, especially from a production standpoint, for me at least.
