DFH2 PATCHES

I blows compared. I would much rather (based on what I have heard here) own EZ drummer.

I own Superior, DFH 2, and EZ drummer. Superior is by far the best for the money. But when it comes to the other two, I like dfh2 more than ez.... I can't stand having the drums already processed in EZ.... In DFH2 they are selected superior samples that have been untouched...

Yeah DFH2 iss just basically a Lite version of Superior that EastWest released with the permission of ToonTrack. Notice how ToonTrack doesn't really say much about it on their site?

Lite meaning a couple of peices for each option. The problem though is that the layers are chopped in half basically compared to what Superior offers. Say for instance one of the snares in Superior has like...I dunno, for example like 50 or so layers correlating with the 127 velocities available...in DFH2 you only get 20-25 of those layers to correlate with the 127 velocities you can program. Kinda lame.

I also own Superior, DFH2, EZD and the DFH EZX. DFH2 was the first thing I bought, and I thought it was neat shit when I first got it. I got Superior soon after that and I don't think I've used DFH2 for anything in about two years now, lol. I would have to agree that EZD/DFH EZX is a better way to go than DFH2, but that's personal opinion and taste. Superior is exactly that - superior. It would be my first choice over anything else now since I've been able to try out BFD+Expansions, EZD, DFH EZX, and there was one other one I tried a while back but it blew hardcore. Also, Superior C&V is t3h awesomest.

Anyway...to stay on topic, no I don't have any patches because DFH2 blows.
