The Norwegian Dark masters CROWHEAD are ready to release their debut
"Frozen". Finally their style made by Gothic Metal and Dark shades is ready
to explode in all its brilliant nature. Jo-I Slangvold (ex-SHADOW DANCERS)
and Rym (RAGNAROK and ex-SHADOW DANCERS) announce this album like a
depressive journey through the meanders of the Dark Gothic where unique cold
atmospheres enshrouded by magic obscure moments generate the true sound of
this decadent era. Special guests of this album are: Rico Darum
(ex-APOPTYGMA BERZERK), Ted "Superdead" Skogmann (ex-APOPTYGMA BERZERK). The
album recorded during 7 months at the Das Bunker Studios has been mastered
at the well-known Masterhuset. To complete this masterpiece of darkness
there are two remixes as bonus tracks manipulated by Sebastian of ICON OF
COIL and by the same Rico Darum and Ted "Superdead" Skogmann (also known
from remixing/producing THEATRE OF TRAGEDY, APOPTYGMA BERZERK, ZEROMANCER,
GOTHMINISTER etc.). Surely there is a new dimension for the darkness
DEINONYCHUS - Mournument - Digipak CD ($8.50 US)
I think there aren't many things to add to the name of DEINONYCHUS and to
the story of this band. We'll release the long-awaited "Mournument", the 5th
full length album and surely the darkest one of this legend of the obscure
sounds, an act that has created a new way to intend music thanks to his
unique sound, and above all giving a new definition to the word Dark Metal.
The album includes a Candlemass' cover performed in a new gloomy dress.
Together with Arkdae (DARK SANCTUARY) and William Sarginson (CRADLE OF
FILTH, DECEMBER MOON, THE BLOOD DIVINE), Marco Kehren has has created a
momument of grief and melancholy to the darkness. It is a fragment of magik
to explore the innermost recesses of the human mankind in a few words it is
the true door towards a delirious world. Melancholy is the main factor in
DEINONYCHUS, and so be it
ROOM WITH A VIEW - "First Year Departure" - CD ($8.50 US)
With great pride we announce the release of "First Year Departure", the
first album of the Italian ROOM WITH A VIEW (already known as BLACK THORNS
LODGE) maybe the biggest surprise and debut band of the Italian scene.
"First Year Departure" has been recorded at the well-known The Temple Of
Noise studios in Rome by Christian Ice and mixes the troubled KATATONIA's
Gothic mood to the avant-garde sonorities typical of the New Wave and of the
Darkpop of bands like Beyond Dawn with wonderful musical solutions
underlined by the incredible use of trumpets, accordion, piano. They
describe their music with these words: "Torment, grief and decadence set to
music... vintage soundscapes and isolationist atmospheres filtered by the
dandy aesthetic of a distant epoch". It is music for the end of all your
illusions
