Diabolical Masquerade Pro Audio

Does anyone know what kind of Digital Audio Workstation Anders used to make the drum parts in Diabolical Masquerade? I'm trying to find something similar in quality, mostly drum machine wise but as well as overall software so any help would be greatly appreciated

If want great drum samples go Superior drummer 2 (+ The Metal Foundry, if you can afford it too) and you can add Steven Slate Drums samples if you have quite a lot of bucks to spend.

samples aren't really what I'm looking for, I want to be able to write each part the drums play

you can try ezdrummer, it's got many different versions available .
