Did anyone ever hear Christopher Lee on the new Rhapsody album?

Wow. Just wow. Move over Luciano Pavarotti (or whatever his name is).

Of course, yes, in order to hear him sing, it means having to listen to Rhapsody which I know only 3 people on this board are willing to do. :loco:

(Joking aside though, he's pretty brilliant).

Symphony of Enchanted Lands pt. II was so goddamn over the top, I loved it. My girlfriend was convinced we were listening to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack the frist time she heard it.

They were always big on the epic orchestra trip with their interludes, but you're right, this time around it seems like half the album is pure instrumental orchestra (sans metal).

Yea, when you hear the sections with the orchestra and all the instruments in full swing, the guitars and drums are often almost drowned out in the mix. Then again, the aim of the album is basically the audial equivalent of a fantasy movie/novel. "Unholy war Cry" does sound pretty awesome with the full orchestra and choir.

Dude. Have you SEEN the videos from the DVD that came with Power of the Dragonflame?

Yes. I saw them at YOUR house!!!

I own all the Rhapsody albums, think they're over the top cheesy glorious, and for some reason, would have the urge to pelt eggs at them up on stage. :loco:

Oh, that's right. LOL

I actually only own 2 Rhapsody albums (Dawn & Power), and I doubt I'll ever buy another one. Who knows though.
