Necrophagia, Viking Crown and other his gay projects-my ass, totally. I've hardly seen anything lamer than that Necrophagia home video, hardly heard anything more stupid than two VC records I had borrowed. Rumor he's doing something with Tony Iommi? I'm interested. Not interested in SRJ very much though. As for Dime and Vinnie, you barely find better musicians in this genre. I wish them both all the best coz this crack-smoking silly and funny pothead should get off their ass. He used to be one of the best vocalist ever, that's for sure. Guess he prefers rather different life choice.

Hard to know if a person on stage is just goofing, being ironic or sarcastic, playing stupid, is drunk and talking shit or got an opinion on something. This is not the first time Phil has talked shit.
RATM, Type O, Nugent, SOAD, Slayer, COC and Carcass are well respected even though their (different) political views are well known, even among people who don´t agree with them.
However, starting calling people stuff from a stage to an unprepared audience is not a good idea. I have heard lots of shit at gigs, I usually don´t think to much about it.

If Phil bags on White Kids acting black I don't care, My old ass has done that too. I especially like bagging on white kids who hate blacks but act black. Truly racist or unecessary comments would probably piss me off though. I may disagree with someone poltically but hat won't stop me from listening to them. Also, is he on heroin or what? That could be at the root of all this too.

Pretty sure it was Me. I was there.
Phil was Ranting to the crowd as always. Trying to get the PIT going. He said that all the people who werent moving weere smurfs. Then he followed that with a Comment about nothing worse then a smurf. Then he corrected himself saying that nothign is worse then a white boy trying to be a smurf.
The 6 foot 300lb BLACK security gaurds left the stage and most left the venue. Rick was telling me that he doubts he will bring SJR or Phil back to the Alrossa.
Now, am I out of the loop. Since when is Smurf a racial slur??

Maybe I am out of the loop too on the Smurf thing?? Not ringing a bell. I do know Phil can really suck ass at times in concert. Back when Pantera first came out it was all about the music and the energy, It was awesome. THen a few years back I saw Pantera on a big outdoor tour with White Zombie opening. Phil sucked. He was horrid and ruined the show. His singing truly sucked that night, but the worst was how many times he stopped to smoke pot and rip on this person and that person and this band and that band. etc. Ummm, Phil I could care less that you hate Metallica (like em or not) Just shut your stupid ass heroine addicted mouth and sing the fucking songs. I saw Pantera again a copuple years ago with Slayer opening and phil had shut his mouth again and was just singing tunes and kicking ass, same on Ozzfest. Most recently, he has been making appearances on things like Headbanger's Ball and he sounds completely fried. I mean he sounds unintelligent and he looks strung out on dope and other drugs. Guy's a mess .I'll be surprised if he lives another 10 years.

I got to hear one song last weekend, and it sounds like Pantera with someone else singing (surprise). Nothing real surprising, but not bad. It'll all depend on if Elektra can get radio to play it, and get it to the nation of mullets who don't get online, don't read magazines, but just wanna hear some good ol' boys tear it up.

that's cause real metal only gets attention from the elder, make it more interesting for the people and combine tours like Trax did with Misfits, PE, Primus, Living Colour. The only mixed tour I'v heard of in a long time is Shadows Fall with AFI!!!!!
