Did you know that Peavey has a line of mixer for churches?

Well, that's it. No more Peavey for me.

side note: about a week ago I turned down a $5000.00 job to build a simple website because it was for a synagog.

But the most annoying thing is that the biggest mixer (S-32) is basically the same as their biggest "normal" mixer (32FX) with only just a white colour and few minor added utilities for church enviroment. And triple the price.

Dude, but the Sanctuary Series has the spirit of god in them. And that you can't put a price on.

Amen.

It´s not their money anyway
That´s the cool thing about church, you can go buying shit banana crazy as the lambs bring you all the money.

And they don't have to pay tax.... On anything. Must be nice. I think I'm going to start my own religion just to reap the benefits. Is gear worshiping already a taken religion? I'm sure it is.

I'm going to buy one of these specifically for recording and mixing clean guitar parts, so as to give them a lighter feel than the heavy shit. Or something.

#1 this is old news.
#2 who cares? Most airlines fly to Texas but that doesn't mean I want to go there. I guess those plane tickets aren't for me.
#3 Having the same features as another product doesn't make them the same thing.
#4 We played with Moonspell on Halloween and one of these was the FOH board.

Regarding the automixer, I haven't seen this one but I've run into those in a/v installs and they are really just gated AGC's and work reasonably well if you have, say, four mics on a table and they don't want to "deal with them."
Regarding the megachurch thing, most of those places are putting in 5D's and the like. They really don't mess around.

I got to say, that looks classy as fuck.

Besides not marketing to a group that is willing to throw you some cash is fucking retarded. Good for Peavey.
