X14Halo: hmm, these are just two guitars. I think it sounds big, cos you were listening to a low-gained mid-panned intro riff, and then it goes WIDE and LOUD immediately.
And well, it's really a matter of tone and playing, and that's the main thing I loved about these pickups. They give a crazy amount definition. The intervals do sound like intervals, the chords reveal all their notes, the single notes sound clear and open throughout the whole harmonic spectrum.
I'll get back to SD JB and 59 now, will see how I like them after continuous playing through Dominions. Then gonna test some more pickups.
