Dimmu Borgir and Behemoth to tour the US?

That's absolutely incredible news! I saw Behemoth like last/first days of October/November and they were absolutely incredible live, much better than I thought they would be. Judging by their reception in Lawrence, I can only hope they stop by!

Dimmu Borgir set at the NEMHF was so bad i had to leave early. Maybe i was just really tired after a long day, but the set just seemed boring. Behemoth on the other hand were GREAT.

Sounds like a great tour!

I love both bands, although I had to miss Behemoth's last time through here. Saw 'em before, though, and they were great even in an opener slot.

Dimmu were great at the Tabernacle on that last tour -- I've got some really awful-sounding, but NOT bootleg, video up on YouTube (page 5) to prove it.
--I was surprised and pleased to hear "A Succubus In Rapture," which I certainly didn't expect, and finally hear "The Insight and the Catharsis," which is one of my fave songs ever!

I'm not a fan of this type of metal. With that said, I can see the appeal of Dimmu. I saw a video of theirs recently from their latest disc and it's great. The music is very cool as well, but it's just hard for me to get past the vocalist.

When I saw Behemoth for the first time, they opened for King Diamond and Nile. Too bad Black Dahlia Murder had to sully an incredible evening by showing up. Behemoth blew up BB Kings that night.
