Just heard from a friend that Hellhammer takes a new dobbelbass record on this song!
At 3 min and 5 sek he plays 16 notes dobbelbass in 280bpm or something!
Is this really a record? it sounds sick for sure tho!

This album rocks by the way!

Leon from Mithras does 16ths at 300...
 
sick.. maybe it was a personal record then? :goggly: heard he just fell over after the song was finished because of all the cramps in his legs!
 
Man, this is the same history of Dave Suzuki from Vital Remains..
"it records guitar, bass, guitar solo and drums"....on the album it's a wonderful drummer, extreme, super quick, blastbeat and double bass at 400bpm.......but have you ever seen these guys play drums live? It's very weird they play drums like monsters and they play guitar live..
Dave records the blast with 2 hands and he put the cymbal with editor.

Edit: Ops, I haven't read "And this is ALL real, my friend used to be in a band with this guy.".... I don't know...I think it's weird they are drums freaks and live they play guitar.

Ahhh ive had that Mithras sample for a while. It sounds insanely....programmed. I mean I cannot believe somebody can go that fast. Tim Waterson seems slow in comparison! My mate tells me its actually their guitarist that does that drumming. Jesus its just wrong!! :P

I think it sounds horrible because it's a sterile,ultrafast, programmed like, kick drum loop that mean nothing in that song..it's a 10s. of song where you can ear only this "titititititititititititititititititititititi" that cover everything....my 2 cent.

It's not programmed, as i (think) i said, a good friend of mine was in a band with him and it's real....

And yeah, Leon also does the guitars.

Maybe with a band on top of it, it wouldnt sound as triggered. I must admit it does sound like a Fruity Loop's drum thing I did a while back. As in the sound of it :P

He should be more known than he is.
