In terms of talent Dio destroys Ozzy. Infact a dying cat will destroy Ozzy's singing capabilities, however Ozzy's voice suits the early Sabbath albums so perfectly and helps create their sound of which is what I happen to think is their best era. Plus despite acknowledging the technical prowess of Dio's voice, I can only really enjoy listening to him in Rainbow.

As much as i fukin love Black Sabbath and Ozzy. Osbourne has become a fucking joke. his whole image has suffered under that bitch wife of his. i cant stand that cow, i dont care if she saved his career, that was fukin decades ago, she has made the osbourne name into something just as corporate as Kiss and as a sabbath and ozzy fan i hate to see it happen.
Dio is a god, there gonna do well touring with him, his a lot better than ozzy these days (and probably always have been.)

lol, Sharon also helped his image in the 80s and early 90s. The fact is Ozzy is now an over the hill burnout who simply doesnt give much of a shit anymore, and can laugh at himself...which i think shows a lot of character. I cant take him seriously, but why would he want us to? Hes 60 years old, has 3 kids, a wife and a pretty cushy life...you think he cares if anyone thinks hes satan or not anymore? I actually respect him for being "Real" now. He was a legend, but he also knows his time has past. Rob halford on the other hand still thinks his shit doesnt stink it seems...puts on the leather and acts like hes a badass still etc. Dont get me wrong, i love halford...probably more than Ozzy at this point, but hes still putting on the act and going through the motions which frankly seems a bit odd to me at this point. I can say the same for Dio too.

i dont think he has the ability to laugh at himself cause his so fuked from drugs and booze, im sure he just does whatever the hell sharon wants him to, in turn, making a complete dick out of himself. Halford and Dio are different because they still have stage personas. you think halford wears all those studs offstage, i doubt it. he does it cause he hasthis whole "metal god" thing going for him, and it works, this goes with dio aswell. it might seem a bit odd for you but i cant see dio and halford not presenting themselves they way they do. anyways, to each there own.
