That is going to be a "best of.." album with songs from the period that Dio was the vocalist for Black Sabbath.

As far as I'm concerned, every one of them, including all of Live Evil and Dehumanizer.

However Sharon tells him to take it, I would guess. I don't know why he'd have a problem with the Dio era stuff anyway. If they did do all of the Live Evil stuff then it would cross over into Ozzy era. I really don't think that's a possibility.

Actually, I heard it's a boxset type thingy, so will probably have some cool extras ala live tracks and maybe a DVD (?). Fingers crossed on that last one.

In fact, www.black-sabbath.com is NOT the official site but a very well made fan site. But since Sabbath doesn't have an official site the aformentioned site is the best place for Sabbath info. As for "The Dio Years", I own all of Black Sabbath's discography so I already have "the best of Dio" which would be Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules.

I got tired of waiting and just downloaded the damn thing. Now I've been boooooorn again.

Dio and Iommi ARE collaborating to write a few new songs to include on this release. It's not a new album, just a retrospective of the band's years with Dio in addition to a couple new songs.

That's cool to here. I've got five bucks on Mr. Midget killing Mr. Mustache with a lead pipe in the library if they try and work together too long.
