Dio's vocals on new Sabb DVD/CD

Hmmm, this trailer doesn't sound so strong, IMO. Perhaps this is not the final mix? Not sure, but Dio's vocals appear to be to prominent in the mix and it sounds as if he's still "suffering from the same illness" that distorted his vocals on the Holy Diver Live DVD.

I was at the H&H gig in NJ in May, and I thought he sounded great. At least far better than he does on the Holy Diver set. So this is a bit surprising.

Well, I'm at work so I haven't heard the trailer in question yet, but I remember hearing that he might have been a bit off (is this the Radio City thing?) That's a shame though, because he was spot on when I saw 'em in San Jose, and 95% of the Youtube things of seen he's been outstanding....

There are some clips from some of the Euro festivals where he sounds particularly fantastic...

I did see them also about few weeks ago.. Dio did sing as good as useual and the gig was nice. Hope hes voice works better in Sabbath DVD than Holy Diver.

Dio sounded good on the new Sabbath trax, I'll be seeing them in a few weeks when they get roll into town. I can't wait, it's the first time I've had the opportunity to see the man live since I started listening to him in the 80's. Metal the fuck up!
