I came to the thought that since its common to use the signal to audio when using triggers..Couldnt we use a DI box?? For example.. Drummer uses triggers to play on the kicks.. Well instead of having 2 more triggers (saying he uses 2 kick drums) on his kick for the transients.. Couldn't we just plug the trigger into the DI box and send one signal to the board for mixing and one signal to the moduel for the triggers??

Yeah you could certainly do that. Potentially you could get one of those behringer 4 channel rackmount DI's so you could have the option of monitoring module sounds for the whole kit.

Don't even need a DI box, just need to split the signal.

If you already had the DI boxes that would be a convenient way to split them. If not then cable splitters would be a cheaper option.
