my parents both say 'want to get a pie?' about pizza. i dunno what region it's from. i just figured it was either because they were italian, or trashy.
we would say pie at antonions, like if someone calls up for a take out order "how many pies?" but the context is already laid out so it's not confusing.
"ol' crazyface" thought we were weird because we didn't say bubbler! bubbler has got to be near the bottom of silly regionalisms, right down their with "what kind of coke do you want?" in the South.
