Discuss multibandcomps and mastering

Yeah multiband compressors... I was wondering if you guys use it when mastering? If so, how do you do to make it sound good?

I do something similar to this: http://www.har-bal.com/mastering_process.php
(The LinMB part)
But with the multi electro mastering patch.
Is this a similar method that you do?

My mastering chain: EQ(Lp and hp only) - LinMB - GClip - L2
What do you think of this chain? should the Gclip be before or after the linmb?

Plankis: why do you put LP filter to whole mix? Pretty drastic, isn´t it?

not when its done at 21khz

Could you pleas explain this more? I thought that you can use 20hz-20khz max in digital, so there is nothing above 20khz...?? Thanks

It's our ears that can't hear higher or lower than 20-20khz. so why have sounds outside those frequencies?
My Eq goes to 21k and I had spare bands to use. Doesn't do a big difference though, isnt really that important.
