DISPLACEMENT NEWS - MAY 2007
ALLREET METAL HEADS!
Got a few interesting gigs coming up over the next couple of weeks for ya. Make sure you come along to the first ever EZ LIKE SUNDAY MORNING at THE RUBY LOUNGE on Bank Holiday Sunday 27th May - we're really happy to playing with EXPLODER, ASYLUM and loads of other great bands. It's £3.00 to get in, or £6.00 in the evening, and we're putting a coach on from Howfen and The Alma (£8.00 inc. entry) so you've no excuse to miss it - we're really relying on all your support for this one as there's a lot resting on our performance so please, please come down and help us out!
We're also down at the Boars Head Metal Fest on the 3rd June with legends SANCTORUM, DEAD TO SIN, BLADEN, SEE RED and many other great bands - make sure you're down to this one!
Later in the month of June, we're lucky enough to be playing at HARD DRIVE ROCK FEST near Leicester. This is gonna be an awesome weekend - 3 days and 2 stages of all out metal mayhem. We're also putting a coach for this so come along - stay posted to www.myspace.com/displacement for more info, and all the other gigs we have coming up.
We had a great time on our mini tour in April, so we're planning our next excursion for August Time so keep yer eyes peeled for info on gigs near you. As always, we're always happy to come and make a racket so if you're a Band or Promoter or can sort us out a gig then please get in touch asap!
Next week we're back in the studio for our 5th Recording - only a short one this time, we hope to do a new recording of "RULES OF ENGAGEMENT" at Re-Load in Darwen. This will feature on our Summer Promo CD through Bleeding Heart Records, along with tracks from "DEMONS AT THE DOOR" and "THE ANCIENT RITE OF CANNIBALISM" with a possibility of a Live Track and a DVD too - a limited amount of FREE copies will be available so stay posted for more info.
Don't forget that if you don'r own a copy of "DEMONS AT THE DOOR", you can buy them now from The Alma or Booth's Music in Bolton, or by contacting us through www.myspace.com/displacement - you can also download the title track and listen to "Time To Die" and "Inject, Infect, Dissect" on our myspace.
