What if other bay area bands can sell the tickets...can get they on?
I know some well deserving guys who play in a band in the Bay Area
who just added a second guitarist and a new singer who should be on

Another thing I'm missing on because I'm not in the bay area!... I would be a great Thrash frontman.... I just don't have any band to play with anymore!!! NOBODY wants to play thrash anymore... SCREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!

...honestly that makes me skiddish already....too young and inexperienced
for a big show like MMM....not to mention the post was shameless self
promotion and name dropping. I figured based on that, I'd ask if it was a
free for all. Thanks for the info.

Yeah I was! The Concorde flew me from Boston to SF and back and I drank
champagne with european supermodels on the flight. When I'm big pimpin

I went to their website.
I looked at their previous gigs *listed* and the
setlists of those gigs.
I went to the mp3 section of the website.

First of all, of their prior 2 gigs listed, one of them was "will's house"
which I assume was indeed Will's place of residence. Their setlists were
half covers. I could only find what looked like to be 3 original songs.

When I went to the mp3 section, I found 1 download! ONE DOWNLOAD!

*Based on what I saw:

I'm supposed to get excited over a teenage garage band who's catalogue
consists of Metallica and Slayer and Death covers and 3 original songs,
only 1 of which I can download to properly evaluate them?
The website looks it hasn't been updated in a while. How am I supposed
to take them seriously if they can't keep their site updated?
They play out very rarely and don't have more than 3 of their own
songs but they got nifty hats! (oh boy!) and everyone's telling me they
are going to own? ...uh huh....yeah. Okee dokee.....and I should put out
my hard earned money to support them to play the big MMM fest when they
play bowling alleys and pool halls? Young and inexperienced, yes. Ready
for the big MMM fest? I seriously doubt it. I doubt they've paid their dues
much less spent much time hauling their gear around gigging everywhere.

And you're using LEGACY as a legitimate and comparable analogy to these
kids? Surely,.....................you're joking,...........right???

They're _not_even_close_ to that level of stature at the present time.

i have seen Distorted Mind in Jersey last month (i think... im losing track of time...)
and they RULED! seriously! great live show, good songs! they deserve to be on that festival!
