Dithering

Hi!

I have exported 24 bit wav files now. Do I get the same quality if I dither and convert into 16 bit in a new project with Ozone, or should I have to go back to the original project and do these things there? (I had a reinstall since mixing, so it would be quite complicated...)

Also what type of dithering should I use?

Definitely Dither if you plan on using the 16 bit versions.

Mope, that's the best algorithm. Ill post my Dither settings I used on my last released project a little later tonight.

And make sure DC offset is on and that its hitting -inf, then you your fine.

And remember, insert this on inserts 7 or 8 in your master chain (cubase)
