also iv looked at some pix of DH and it seems he plays the guitar alot with his hand above the neck...strange technic :s

Like any other guitar, but lower.

The hand-over-neck is a showy thing, he and the bass player do it when they get bored. Dino is an incredible performer and pulls this stuff off flawlessly.

hmm i dont know...when i would tune my 7-string as low as the 8-string, i dont think it feels the same as the 8-string does

hmm when they get bored...then my mission for next tuesday is to not bore them so im gonna show up in my santa-costume with some friends of mine

What strings are you using for that kind of tuning?

I ordered a few sets of 13-70+90 for my seven in F#, anything lighter than an 80 for that low string will be a rubber band.

oh wait a sec i havent tuned my guitar that low im fine with the way my Ibanez RG1527 is right now: BEADGBE i use Ernie Ball 7-string Power Slinky Nickel Wound 11-58
nothing special but its fine with me

divine heresy fails to impress me. The singer is pretty annoying and Dino's riff are kinda lame and predictable. Assesino on the other hand rules

but i liked Blood Red Throne more
