Yeah, I bought the ATI Radeon 9600 Pro and its great. I downloaded all the demos at ATI site... but... while ATI cards are great... nobody beats the demos Nvidia makes!!!

Fuck... i just saw pics of the demos... they look awesome!

well... i dont regret having bought a Radeon 9600 instead of a Geforce FX cuz I would never get enough money to buy a Geforce FX anyway...

Hmm.. I don't think there is such thing as a card specific media format. At least not to my knowledge. It should run on your ATI card, but since that was made for the GeForce FX 5900 Ultra card, it would probably run a bit choppy.

in fact, i downloaded and it didnt worked!!! It asks for specific functions only the Geforce card has. I should had guessed. WHen I had a Geforce3 I tried to run an ATI demo and it didnt worked also. I wonder if there is an "emulator" around...

That all depends, if it was written with standard DirectX implementation, it would work fine, but the whole point of the technology demos is to showcase a companies' product, so those are generally developed to run using only that specific hardware.

There is a hacked version somewhere that runs on Radeons. Funnily enough the 9800 Pro runs the nVidia demos faster than the 5900 FX
