Do Impulses Work in Pro Tools?

I have Pro Tools LE 7.31, its plug ins run is RTAS format as many of you may know, do Impulses run in PT, because i followed instructions on installing etc, and they dont appear on my plug ins list... does anyone else use PT and managed to get them working?

I've been trying Voxengo Boogex.

Boogex and most other of these plugins are VST. You need a VST->RTAS wrapper. This will let you use most VST plugins in Protools.

The only one I know of is http://www.fxpansion.com/index.php?page=15&tab=43. It's not freeware. It works pretty well, but not always perfectly.

I don't know if there are any others or freeware. Anybody else know?

Of course they work in Pro Tools, and you have a bunch of options. If you're on a Mac, there is the free audiosuite plug-in jk irr which can-be found here: http://www.sonoria.pl/jk/protools.html
There are also a bunch of non freeware convolution plug-ins such as altiverb, TL space, waves IR1 etc. I don't want to sound like an asshole but this question and others regarding impulses have been asked a million times, and they seem to be appearing more and more frequently. We REALLY need an impulse sticky.

Yeah I use the audio-suite one.

I use AltiVerb myself, which is native RTAS. Not cheap, but it rules!

Me too. would be better to have it as a channel plug in but not the end of the world (and since jk irr is free, cant really complain).
