Do you put all toms at the same volume?

i saw that in the default kit of superior 2.0 ...the five toms have different volumes(especially tom4 and tom5)...do you do this too? or do you do it differently?

i put them wherever they need to sit up front different volumes depending on the pan law.....

Then I guess that the toms panned further of the center need more volumen... isnt it?

I'll second that. Whatever sounds right. I don't have 2.0, just DFHS, but I'll usually try to get them at a decent volume as a group, and if a certain tom seems to jump out, or if one seems buried a bit, I'll adjust to compensate. They don't all have to be perfectly the same, just as long as none are sticking too far out front and none are getting stepped on by the others. The toms are kinda like a little squad that needs to work as a team. It's best when they work together. Don't let any of them gang up on any others, and don't let any of them get too cocky and independent.

Yeah I always try to get them equal volume myself. Not looking at the fader, but just listening to them and making sure they are all even.
