Do you think there are many closet homos in metal?

I'm going to get absolutely killed from this post, but i think there are a TON of gay people in Power and Glam. I mean, tight spandex, obsessed with showing off their package to a mostly male crowd, trying to look all prissy? I mean, come on, you guys can hide it better!!!!

Yet another brilliant thread!!

I reckon there are plenty in the Norwegian Black Metal Scene.... I mean... makeup... being alone in forests together... so yeah...

And of course there are some in Power Metal... but thats what makes it such a great and epic genre...

Then there is Manowar... as much as I love them, they have some serious problems... heh... those loincloths... aaaarrrrrgggg...

Wonder if there are any lesbians in metal... :spin:

First there has to be a decent number of women in metal!

Funny how that would go over so well with
people who are disgusted by homosexuality  :p

~Sh0k~

p.s. - I don't mind the loincloths

LMFAO:lol:

That and you know how much time is gotta go into making those weopns and wardrobe together, A closeness some might call brotherhood, Some might something else, Until they come out, were never gonna know

I think Dani Filth should jump out of the closet already
always a naked chick near him on the band pics and he is looking at the camera? who does that?

I don`t know any gay metal fan.... but if we take care of statistics, in this thread it should be at less 3 or 4 persons with lesbian or gay tendencies ..... :p
(3/10 persons have gay tendencies)

I really don't care about some guy in a band's personal life. It really doesn't matter, I mean, Rob doesn't mince about or turn into some horrid George Michael flamer, he's still the same metal God, its about personality, etc. I mean, do whatever, I don't have to LIKE it, but I also don't care in this context. I personally am not down with the lesbians, it doesn't help me out as a heterosexual man for a chick to not be into guys, I'm sorry...hell, or even to be into girls and guys, I don't need that headache. I'm selfish, I require exclusive rights.

OMG I'm laughing...

"Seattle has forgotten how to bang its head!" says PINK STEEL lead singer
Hanson Jobb. "That is where Pink Steel comes in."

"Yah," added guitarist Udo Von DüYü. "We have come to turn the Emerald
City pink. Prepare for the paddle, Seattle!"

Best known in the US for show-stopping appearances at New York City’s CBGB’s,
Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater, and the Gay and Lesbian Music & Comedy
Festival, PINK STEEL makes its Western U.S. debut in Seattle.

The Bad Boys from Bremen will address the issues of their dogged longevity and
their curious obscurity with the unveiling of their two-man cabaret show,
Queens of The Dammed.

PINK STEEL: QUEENS OF THE DAMMED is their hard-rocking tale of gay metal,
demonic possession, and other things that make life naughty and fun.
Expect loads of gay-positive arena-rock cabaret, crammed with PINK STEEL
favorites like "I’m Comin’ Out (All Over You)", "Frodonator", "Sausage Party," and "We Fight For Cock!"

PINK STEEL, a.k.a. "the Pink and Black Bareback Attack", have spent the last
twenty years in relative obscurity, spreading the gospel of Gay Heavy Metal
throughout the eastern U.S. and northern Europe. Born in Bremen, Germany,
founding (and currently only) members Hanson Jobb and Udo Von DüYü have
pledged to "conquer the world, one bath house at a time." With seminal albums
as Mouth Full of Magic, Creaming for Vengeance and Squeal at The Devil,
PINK STEEL have duly carved their names into men’s room walls and their niche
in hard rock history.

Actually, if you think about it Judas Priest did get worse when Halford came out. Demolition? Jugulator?

Uh...not as a result of Halford being gay, as he left the band after Painkiller, one of the greatest metal albums of all time. Now the two Halford albums are tentimes better than anything released by Priest since he left, and Crucible was one of the best albums released this year, so Rob's gayness is certainly not impeding his metallic fortitude.
