I mean, I thought it was pretty fucking obvious that he serves as commentary on the state of organized religion, or at least christianity. I mean that part is painfully obvious right?

hahaha see on one hand it's funny as hell, but on the other it's scary!

I've actually known about some religous types bonding with Flanders for some time now, but I was talking to this chick about the Simpsons awhile ago and this is basically how it went:

her: "I don't like Flanders, he's religious."
me: "Yes, but Flanders is the Simpsons whole take on
religion, see he's such a putz and a freak, it's a
commentary on zealots and the like."
her: "Nah, I don't like religious people."

WTF!!!

I've hung out with this broad a few times but haven't really gone on a date with her yet. But this combined with her saying "fuck the desert" and "if they haven't made it into the movie, why should I read it?" makes me really question why I'm bothering even talking to this bint. Gah.

haha, when I was in high school, a couple of my good friends said this exact same thing. is it such a surprise I havent spoken to them since high school? Nah.

Yeah dudes, strike three on that bitch. Even if she does give me free beer whenever I visit her bar.

My friend said I should still fuck her, but I don't know if I could even get it up with this big mountain of stupid (she talks a lot so it would be hard to avoid).

Or can I?

Mystery post! :loco:

I think so, but at this point it doesn't even matter.

I tried to explain the Flanders thing using simple language and now she doesn't understand how I can dislike religion but like Flanders at the same time. :guh:
