hey guys, some of you may know I've been wanting a boss HM2 for a while, but it hasn't worked out for me. So a friend of mine bought this pedal on ebay and told me to try it out. He claims it's the answer to the hm2. I decided to make a clip of it, and you guys can be the judge.

I think it's hm2-esque but less buzzsawy. It's not bad, seeing as it only cost 15$.

Hmm, wow, that definitely has a similar vibe; a bit muffled, but yeah, conjures Edge of Sanity associations, so mission accomplished I guess! (though not quite sure why they called it the "American Metal" pedal :Smug: ) That snare sounds ridiculous though, I'm sorry And there's bass in here, right? Or is it just ridiculously chuggy guitars?

Is this literally straight in? I've always wondered what one would sound like through an impulse!

there's a bass. it's straight in, then an impulse. I'm using catharsisimp on one side an goddamn guitar's savage v30 on the other, but i can't hear any diff. The bass is an ampeg impulse. Yes the snare is a bit much, but i wanted to make a quick clip so there it is.

Are you having trouble finding an HM-2 on the bay?

Melodeath: I bought an HM2 on ebay, and it either got lost int he mail or stolen from my doorstep. Im out like 50 bucks, so i'm alittle discouraged about trying to get another one.
