Does anybody know Lost Horizon

I heard of this band on some board. They said
they were kinda cheesy but good. I thought that was strange so I tried them. The cover of the album is very cheesy.

A boring intro and a manowar-like first song did not give me any faith in the rest of the album. But then...

The rest of the album is Killer power metal

Very good singer and agressive fast metal. If you are into serious agressive power metal, not the
kind of Helloween with their happy crappy chorusses, than get the Lost Horizon album.
Its called "Awakening The World".

Wow! Someone else who knows Lost Horizon!!! Sweet!
Their sound kinda reminded me of Metalium too...the heavy as hell power metal sound...The guitarist, Wotjek, was also part of some project who I think called themselves Luciferion. He and Snowy Shaw did the killer version of Black Funeral on the Mercyful Fate tribute album. That drummer in Lost Horizon just kills too! Damn he's good! And that vocalist...there is that one scream in Sworn On The Metal Wind that I just can't quite get...but wow...he's really really good!

Have you guys heard Metalium? They kick serious butt!

I found Lost Horison today in he shop and listened there. Everyone looked at me like at an idiot... usually I don't care about it, but then I felt myself real fool, cause this band is such a crap!!!

I just got promo of the Awakening... First song is good, but others aren`t so good!! Boring!!

And I like it, a lot! Great musicians with an outstanding vocalist. I don't like their image, but the music rocks!
