Does anybody know what these computerfiles do??

Everytime I do a virusscan at www.pandasoftware.com it finds these three "suspicious" files:
c:\Windows\system32\divx.dll
c:\Windows\system32\divxdec.ax
c:\Windows\system32\mp4fil32.dll

It says they aren't infected, but does anybody know what their purpose are? Are they something I can delete? A lot of times my computer screen "freezes" (if that's the same expression as in Danish - You can't do anything but hit restart on your tower), so I thought this might have something to do with it.
And please, if you reply to this, be serious as I don't want to delete something important just so you can get a kick out of knowing that my computer fucked up!!

To me that looks like files needed to watch DivX movies.

If you have a DivX player installed try to uninstall it. And see if the files are left.

EDIT: Okay it's for the DivX codec. Check this link.

Halfway down the page it says what files are installed with the codec. Those files are among them.
