I saw "The Notebook" the other day and I have to admit, I was a blubbering mess. It all started when I was a kid. I was watching "Old Yeller" and "Where The Red Fern Grows" and boo-hooed through those. Later came "Running On Empty," "Jacob's Ladder," (the ending, not the freaky scenes) "My Dog Skip" and "Titanic."

Eventhough I drink beer, lift weights, spit, curse and have recently employed the use of a cutting torch to sepreate Michelle Pfeiffer from my face, I still have a weak spot for those tear jerker movies.

So admit it! Am I not the only guy out there? What movies have choked you up?

Hmm.... i'm a pretty tough guy, but I had to wipe away the tears when "The President" made his speech in "Independence Day". That was the last time I can remember shedding a tear during a movie and I don't mond admitting it. That was great !!

Yeah.. I've cried before watching a movie, but sometimes its so sad its funny.

I cry easily at tear jerkers. 'Old Yeller' to this day I can not watch it, traumatized me. same with Dumbo. When Dumbo goes to see his mom and she is chained inside the train car, and she swings him on her truck and sings to him

Plus there are so many.

And porn movies are a great source for getting tears in your eyes.
Watching Jenna sad face when she realise that she will never get the guy of her dreams even tho she fucked him twice already is so sad

I try my best not to cry in the movie theaters anymore, depending on what kinda movie it is... I almost cried watching Spiderman 2, a week or so ago... that was one emotional film.

The end of Braveheart

The part in BLOW where he is speaking to his father through the tape recorder. That REALLY hit home 'cause my dad and me are pretty close...

Lots of times haha, i really enjoy it - it means that the movie worths it .
The most characteristic scene that i cried was in 2001: A Space Odyssey when the dying computer Hal, sings his song. Most touching scene ever imo.

Among other things! :heh:

I can't see the point in crying over fictional characters. I did find myself welling up during Fahrenheit 9/11 during Lila Lipscomb's onscreen appearances in front of the White House and reading her son's last letter home before he was killed. I also got teary-eyed during the scenes they showed from New York City on 9/11. Shit, I'm getting teary-eyed thinking about that now.
