Does anyone know anything about EQ?

Hi

I'm trying to mix a song together but I don't how to use the EQ dials correctly. Can anyone give me advice because the books only talk about frequency & hz which means nothing to me?

short answer: with frequency (same as hertz or hz), lower numbers are bass, higher numbers are treble. with this in mind, a little experimentation with the dials and the resulting sound should 'learn' you enough to make a mix of whatever you're mixing..
