Does anyone of you know a good free bass vst ?

Title says it, I got a bass guitar but no amp and want to go straight into my firepod.
I tried screwin around with cubase distortion stuff and lots of compressor saturation but well results are uke: :Smug:
So If anyone could help me I am glad to offer a free beer (I can try to send it to your country from Germany if it's possible).

Check out the bass amp here - http://www.1ststudio.blogspot.com/ I dig it, it's got a nice mid-range growl when tweaked.

As far as mixing... depends on the style, but search around on the forum, plenty of tips.

I use Acmebar BIG. It works well for distorted sounds.
